Yellow Dancers and L'etoile La Danseuse sur la Scene
are two studies based off of the Edgar Degas' ballerina
collection. The original Yellow Dancers (1874) was painted
in oil on canvas and this attempted recreation was completed in
acrylic on canvas and measures 34" by 28" framed. "L'etoile La
Danseuse sur la Scene", translated as "The Star (Dancer on Stage)"
or also known as "Prima Ballerina". The original was created in
1876 using pastels and the recreation was completed in acrylic on
canvas and measures 34" by 28" framed.
